Pontita Vineyard and Winery LLC is a company organized for charitable and educational purposes.

Surveys show that since the internet started growing rapidly in 1995; since then people report fewer strong relationships.  Think of this as less Friends and more acquantances.  Survey respondents report fewer inter-personal connections. (McPhearson et al. Social Isolation in America: Changes in Core Discussion Networks over Two Decades).  The distance between people is growing.

Our focus is on helping build the bridges that should exist between people.  We think that we can create a place were people could spend some time, enjoy a glass of wine and through a shared experience, help create new, or strengthen existing relationships.

We also want to make a difference and support an organization that is working with people affected by troubled relationships. Essentially, we pay our bills and support the Crisis Center of Comal County.
